The University acknowledges that there are instances when a student may wish to challenge University decisions about graded term work or academic assessments (final grades). The following guidelines and procedures deal with those occasions.
The definition for the term 鈥済raded term work鈥 is set out in Section I.2 (Reappraisal of Graded Term Work).
The term 鈥渁cademic assessment鈥 means the determination of a student鈥檚 final level of achievement in a specific course, and includes grades, credit or fail designations, and, if specified in a course outline, assessments of all aspects of professional behaviour.
